I want to report on the excellent surgery experience I have had over the past 13 months. On 10/19/2021 I had a total reverse replacement of my right shoulder. Dr. Rudzki performed this particularly complicated and intricate surgery superbly. The additional complication stemmed from the necessity to remove a 4 inch steel screw which had been in residence for 40 years. Everything happened as described. The uniqueness of this surgery has resulted in Dr. Rudzki using a video of the operation in his teaching.
The quality of the attention I received throughout this complex procedure was truly exceptional. At each stage of the process I was clearly told what to expect, by the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, and other medical personnel. Literally all the people I encountered during my long recovery impressed me by their knowledge of what was happening when, as well as by their unusual concern for my comfort and general compassionate attitude.
Dr. Rudzki's Medical Assistant, Praire Fiebel, was amazingly competent and helpful at every stage. I had the confidence that the medications prescribed were the correct ones. Upon my commenting on swelling around the right ankle, I received appropriate ultrasound immediately and then treatment for a blood clot.
Dr. Rudzki's staff and the written explanations we received were terribly useful.
I have had far too many surgeries and have never been treated so well. I am in awe of Sibley's medical staff at all levels. Great kudos to Dr. Jonas Rudzki, and MA Prairie Fiebel.

Excellent knowledgable doctor. Patiently explains my condition in clear non-technical terms. Has excellent support, including good physical therapists.

Dr. Rudski is a great and is helping me with my shoulder issues and related concerns. He is a straight-shooter and a guru. I have seen him three times in the past eight weeks. He is good with guidance and a clear plan. He helps me avoid some noise or lack cohesion from the other three doctors that I saw for my issues. DC, Arlington and Alexandria is lucky to have him.

I had a torn rotator cuff, and after 2 other orthopedic surgeons suggested I have surgery for repair, Dr. Rudsky instead suggested an initial use of predisone, as well as physical therapy. Dr. Rudsky, a surgeon, thought it best to first treat me without surgery, and it worked! I am pain free and have complete mobility of that shoulder. I will be forever grateful to him for his measured approach.

I have returned now to Dr. Rudsky for a hip issue, and have every confidence I will receive his same thoughtful approach to my treatment.

Dr. Rudzki is always caring, prompt, thoughtful and extremely knowledgable and skilled in the care he gives his patients.

Dr. Rudzki showed the utmost professional concern to me and took time to explain my options and to answer all of my questions. The office environment is friendly and welcoming.

I went for a surgical consult, and was nervous about what I was going to hear. Dr. Rudzki was reassuring, professional, and very funny. He recommended waiting for the shoulder replacement until I had more pain (I have very little now). I felt like he was looking out for my best interests.

Grateful for Dr. Rudzki’s guidance with a recent shoulder issue - I recovered much more quickly than I expected to. Also his staff is terrific.
