Dr. Rudzki's research interests include rotator cuff injuries and surgical repairs, shoulder injury in overhead athletes, clavicle fractures, cartilage biology and transplantation, and trauma outcomes research.
His research efforts have resulted in more than 20 publications andled to presentations and lectures at national and international conferences. In addition, Dr. Rudzki has co-authored several book chapters on topics in Shoulder and Elbow surgery. These contributions to the literature have led to over 2,400 in the world of orthopaedic research [ResearchGate].
Dr. Rudzki'smost recent publication involved a topic which he has focused on for over twenty years in studying the treatment of Proximal Humerus (shoulder) Fractures. This latest study focused on decision-making for surgical intervention with Reverse Shoulder Replacement for Displaced Proximal Humerus Fractures published in the Journal of Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, 2024.
